Step 2: Removing Your Old Lights

Remove the screws holding the radiator air deflector using the Phillips head screwdriver. Once the screw is out, pull the plastic anchor out. On North American models, there is a plastic threaded plug on the driver's side that attaches the engine block heater cord and deflector to the body through the plastic air scoop. With firm force, pull this plug out. You may need a set of pliers to help you.

    

Remove the 4, 10mm bolts that hold the grill in place

Disconnect the turn signal lamp electrical connectors by turning the connector. If you plan on re-using the original stock grille, remove the turn signal lamp bulbs so they do not get broken during the installation process.

5: Remove the three upper screws and one lower screw to remove the light. They are all 10mm bolts.

The lower screw is hiding on the underside of the car between the engine and the fender. The bolt is from the fender side through the hole in the image below, and into the light. By driving the car up onto ramps, it is a lot easier to access the lower bolt.

Repeat for the other side.
